About the partner
Catapult Design is a non-profit product and service design firm that works with socially driven organizations to build forward-looking, accessible, and market-based solutions that empower low-income and underserved communities with reliable tools to improve their quality of life.
Goal of the study
To ensure health innovations in global majority countries are grounded in the lived realities, culture, values, and priorities of women and girls by engaging them early and consistently in decision-making. Through this pilot, Catapult Design, with design partners across Africa, facilitates Gender Equality Design Labs to test ideas and enable continued engagement with women.
Outcome of the study
Dots enables teams across countries to collaboratively collect and organize research data, generate insights, and share data access. It also allows stakeholders in the Gates Foundation’s Gender Equality Data & Insights (GE D&I) Division to explore insights, findings, and raw data in multiple formats, and identify opportunities for future innovations impacting women's and girls' health.
Supports users to query the dataset ensuring precise answers without hallucinations or external data interference, while keeping the data secure
Platform Intervention
Customised role based flow for clients to be able to access the analysed and raw data in a particular flow to enhance understanding of the outcomes of the research, even as new data and analysis is added in realtime
